Another car picture, taken in Manhattan between 1968 and 1972. I am pretty sure it was on 34th Street and I am pretty sure the car is a Lagonda. It is certainly British with those big Lucas headlamps, sadly converted to later sealed beams.
I like to photograph interesting cars and trucks, but only in their natural habitat. Photographing them in a show or a museum seems much like photographing animals in a zoo, which I don’t like doing either.
Great car, guess you’re right about the Lagonda.
And if the headlights don’t work they’re certainly Lucas. Also called the Prince of Darkness!

Agreed! After many years of riding British motorcycles I didn’t find a cartoon in MotorCycle of a Lucas light switch labeled “Dim Flicker Off” very funny.
